Wear BLUE on Wednesday for Autism Awareness Day!

Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) begins tomorrow at the secondary building. Students in grades 6-11 will begin testing at 8:10 am Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (grades 8 & 10 only).
It is important that students get a good night's sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, arrive to school on time, and bring their charged Chromebook each day. Students have set goals and talked about the importance of giving their best effort on these tests.
Seniors will not need to report to school until 9:40 am each day. This would be a perfect time for seniors to work on scholarships.
If you have any questions related to ISASP testing, please email Mrs. Salazar at shannon.salazar@wapellocsd.org.

Last week in kindergarten, Tinley brought her baby chicks in to share with us, we practiced for our music program (which turned out to be amazing!), and we used chalk pastels in art. We also had a special guest from Great Prairie AEA. Literacy Consultant Mrs. Kara Veach helped us strengthen our knowledge of double consonant spellings.
